On Radio Ciutat de Tarragona, program #CarrerMajor, Quim Cristià, "This Holy Week we have exceeded expectations".
A balance that without a doubt and in the words of Cristià has been very positive, much more than the expectations that the Federation had generated. “We are very satisfied, not so much because of the occupation but because of the opening of more establishments. This 2023 there have been more open places than in 2019 and the occupancy percentages have been similar”. This means that the Costa Daurada continues to position its brand and product and states that "they have managed to attract more people and more businessmen have taken risks" a fact that may bode well for a good tourist season for the territory.
And despite the fact that the most benefited or the establishments that have had it easier have been tourist apartments or campsites, hotels have also exceeded expectations and have generated a good indication for summer.
In addition to the good tourist forecasts for this summer, Cristià also welcomes international tourism. "We have already started 100% with international markets, and we have recovered foreign tourism, it seems that this year will be the year of full recovery."
